HZB operates two large scale facilities: the research reactor BER II, for experiments with neutrons, and the electron storage ring BESSY II, producing ultra bright photon beams ranging from the Terahertz regime to hard X-rays. The joint BER II and BESSY II User Meeting will bring together more than 400 researchers from all over the world and from different research fields. A key-note lecture, plenary talks, discussions, a public lecture and a poster session will provide vast possibilities of information and discussion.
The User Meeting mirrors the broad variety of excellent research performed at our facilities in a diversified programme covering the whole range of research field.
